On 25 September 2008, the town of Chiclana de la Frontera, located in Cadiz, will be hosting INNOVIA, an event geared to entrepreneurs interested in innovation, sponsored by the Andalusian government(s regional department of innovation, science and enterprise and the Andalusian Technological Area Network (RETA).
The main objective of this seminar, which is free of charge, is to show the province’s business community that there are creative and innovative tools at their disposal for managing and improving their businesses. Likewise, INNOVIA offers them the opportunity to get to know experts in innovation, share experiences, and participate in other leisure and training activities of great interest due to the fact that they have immediate practical applications in the corporate world.
Another of the seminar’s features is the so-called innovanometre, a method that allows the audience to vote on the innovative ideas presented during the event by means of a real-time polling system.
This is the sixth edition of INNOVIA to be held in Andalusia and the second time the province of Cadiz has been chosen as the host destination. After the first edition in Linares (Jaen), and those held in Algeciras (Cadiz), Marbella (Malaga), Cartaya (Huelva), and Lucena (Cordova), the town of Chiclana de la Frontera, located in Cadiz, will be hosting this year’s edition of the event.
