On 25 January 2009, the Seville Tourist Board, in collaboration with Es.cultura (Events + Communication), carried out one of the many promotional activities programmed during Madrid’ International Tourism Fair (FITUR), under the slogan )Sevilla, come and live it".
This promotional stunt, which was carried out in Cuesta de Moyano, close to Atocha train station, attracted a large crowd. Against a backdrop with a profusion of typically Andalusian elements, there was a large stage with actors, opera singers, poster signing, a band, and several giant screens.
Es.cultura (Events+Communication) handled the design, coordination and staging, including the actors, merchandising and activities – comprising the most important part of the event – providing a touch of creativity, one of the company’s differentiating factors.
The entertainment was provided by wine pourers, actors playing the part of bellboys and historical characters, and event staff sporting clothes and accessories from Seville (promoting “Shopping in Seville”), who showcased the city’s attractions before a large audience. With closeness, ease and dynamism, this cast enlivened the event, while their costumes and props added a touch of colour, inviting all those present to come and live Seville.
