On 11 November, the ceremony of the MotoGP Awards 2012 was held in the Red Sea Auditorium of the Oceanographic Museum of Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences.

To differentiate the ceremony from those of past editions, the AV service company Eikonos – demonstrating its professionalism and innovative spirit – deployed 18mm LEDs around the base of the stage, mirroring the 8mm LEDs framing the main screen and reinforcing the images screened during the ceremony.
Another innovative feature was pedestal used to showcase the championship trophy. Made of LEDs, the pedestal served as a source from which all the event’s audiovisual content emanated, before being distributed to all the screens.
Eikonos also handled the event’s sound and lighting. Of the kind used in television production, the lighting also included special effects highlighting the most important moments of the ceremony.
