Eikonos was commissioned to provide AV equipment and services for the opening ceremony of the Best Terminal located in the Port of Barcelona.
The Chinese company Hutchison opened its new mega terminal with a spectacular video show that amazed guests. An AV service company with a long track record in the event industry, Eikonos rose to the challenge of handling such a complex event.
For the ceremony, Eikonos installed eight LED screens and two 103" plasma screen for the company’s presentation and the speeches given by the King and other personalities; two Christie HD 18K and four 10K projectors for screening on a wall of containers; and a Dataton Watchout control system. During the presentation, this equipment was used for screening the speeches in several languages and, later on, for the different performances included in the event.
