Eikonos at Barcelona’s Neighbourhood Run

The 3rd edition of the Correbarri, a 10km run which intends to encourage amateur athletics by involving all of Barcelona’s neighbourhoods/districts, was held on 13 October.



The run’s start and finish line were both located in the Plaça del Mar, facing the Atletic-Barceloneta Swimming Club. The neighbourhoods of Ciutat Vella, Eixample, Sants-Montjuic, Les Corts, Sarria-Sant Gervasi, Gracia, Horta-Guinardo, Nou Barris, Sant Andreu and Sant Marti competed against each other for the first prize which was won by Sant Marti.



Eikonos installed a LED screen at the start and finish line for transmitting images of the run to the spectators. Once again, Eikonos proved its deep commitment to sports events.
