Eighty percent of the tourists who visited Andalusia during this year’s first three-month thought the quality/price ratio was good or very good, while 18.2% were of the opinion that it was normal and 1.5% not so good.
The province of Jaen received the highest mark
The tourists taking part in the survey rated Jaen as the best province, followed by Seville, Cordova, Cadiz and Almeria. With regard to Malaga, more than 40% gave the province a pass mark, while regarding Granada and Huelva as good destinations.
Overall, more than half of the tourists surveyed regarded Andalusia’s quality/price ratio in 2005 as good, and 37% considered it to be very good.
Good and bad aspects
In relation to the first three-month period of 2006, the tourists taking part in the survey gave the highest marks to street safety (82%), monuments (78.9%) and food (78.8%). In addition, the aspects they thought had improved most since their last visit were the region’s leisure activities (28.7%), transport network (31.4%) and how they were treated (26.2%). On the other hand, over a third (36.6%) regarded prices as the aspect that had deteriorated most.
The most valued aspects were cuisine, accommodation, leisure activities, cultural heritage, landscapes and natural parks, client hospitality and treatment, and traffic the least.
