Exhibitors in the Technology Village can benefit from the opportunity to demonstrate their products to buyers in a dedicated innovation showcase.
EIBTM, the leading global event for the meetings and events industry, scheduled to take place in the award winning business and tourism destination of Barcelona from 19-21 November, has announced plans to increase the size of their Technology Village as a direct response to the high demand received from international technology suppliers who have signed up to exhibit at the show.
Leading global technology companies supplying the meeting and business travel industry who have already signed up to make the most of the benefits of pre-show publicity and exposure include Shocklogic Global Ltd., Ungerboeck Systems International, Soft Congres, Goomeo, EventPlatform, Amiando, Meta-fusion, etouches, Conference Compass, Spotme(shockfish), PSAV Presentation Services, Psideo SA, and key4events.
Daniel Bachmann, CEO, tool2meet - Newtonstrand, comments on his experiences at EIBTM 2012: "We have had fantastic appointments, people are very impressed with the technology they are seeing at EIBTM – they did not expect the quality of solutions which we are providing. We have had a lot of enquiries at the stand. The most challenging thing we face is the evolving industry is that this new generation of event goers want to be part of the event; for them interaction and participation are key."
Also exhibiting at EIBTM this year will be the winner of this year’s EIBTM Technology Watch. Now in its 14th year, the Technology Watch Award is the longest running and most high profile technology recognition scheme for the meetings and events industry worldwide.
Chaired by meetings technology expert Corbin Ball, the Technology Watch judging panel will select an organization that has demonstrated a new and innovative technology solution they believe will make a significant contribution to shaping the future of the industry, giving visitors and exhibitors an insight into the progression of meetings and events technology.
Deborah Greif, bXb Online, who won the EIBTM Technology Watch Award in 2012, commented: "It’s our first international show and as an exhibitor, it’s been an amazing experience and it’s all run very smoothly. We will definitely be here again next year."
Submissions are currently being taken for the annual EIBTM Technology Watch Award. For further information and to enter visit www.eibtm.com/techwatch; the deadline for entries closes on 6 September.
