For the eleventh year running, the Duque de Najera Hotel (Rota) has received this prestigious award, regarded as the Oscar of the tourism industry.
In this year’s edition of TUI Holly, the Duque de Najera Hotel, a four-star property located in Rota (Cadiz), has been included among the top 100 properties, which are chosen by the guests of over 10,000 hotels included in the survey.
The Duque de Najera Hotel has been in the top 100 since being opened in 1999 and, in 2004, it was ranked 1st in the world. From 2001-2005, the property was ranked among the top 10.
Approximately 10,000 hotels compete each year to win a TUI Holly award. There are also special award categories for the top 100 hotels. Guests give hotels a score from 1-5, and then the average is calculated for each property. The database used in this survey contains 500,000 questionnaires filled in by TUI’s clients.
