Drum Café have been chosen by Mass Movement, the UK’s only professional dance production supplier, to drum for Esprit’s amazing global initiative to help reach a target of three million bangs!
Global fashion brand Esprit wants you to go online or visit one of their flagship stores and make a difference by banging a super drum. Global ambassadors Maggie Gyllenhall and Peter Sarsgaard, who have supported the cause, participated in the monumental opening of the village in Alibaug.
Eleven Esprit stores across the globe will house a super drum, with which customers will be invited to make their bang count from 5-13 November. In every other participating store, Esprit customers can pick up a drumstick, which will direct them online to a virtual super drum via www.esprit.com/bigbang.
When the counter reaches a target of three million bangs, Esprit will then donate a further half a million Euros to a children’s village in India. Participants will also get the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes, so go online now and make your difference!
On "Big Bang Day", 13 November, the public can visit one of the 11 stores and participate in an interactive drumming session with a local celebrity. Singer, songwriter Marina and the Diamonds will be at the Regent Street store. For a full list of other celebrities involvement in other cities have a look at the Esprit website.
For more than four decades, Esprit has supported the charity SOS Children’s Villages. Esprit has now financed a complete children’s village in Alibaug, India, where 140 children will be given a loving home.
"Big Bang" is a celebration around the world to raise awareness for the good works of the charity, SOS Children’s Villages. Ten Drum Café drummers will take to the streets in 11 cities worldwide –New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin, New Delhi, Beijing, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne – simultaneously on 5, 6, 12 and 13 November.
