Event ROI Institute and Down Hall Country House Hotel, one of England's established country house hotels has entered into a long term agreement for Event ROI Week, which is held in the first week of September every year.
Down Hall is a 99 bedroom, 14th century country mansion at Hatfield Heath, near London and just 11km from Stansted Airport.
“We have searched throughout Europe for this kind of venue,” says Dr. Elling Hamso, Managing Partner of ROI Institute. “There are many country house type hotels in Europe, but very few within a short distance of a major international airport. Stansted Airport is in fact ranked number five on European connectivity; this is based on the number of flights to and from other European airports. The fact that we are also less than one hour travel from London and its four other airports, makes this one of the most accessible country house hotels in Europe.”
Tracey Watt, director of sales and marketing at Down Hall Country House, comments: “We are delighted to be the new home of this major initiative to improve the skills of meeting planners and raise the level of professionalism and ROI in the meetings and events industry. This also gives us the opportunity to showcase our beautiful country house hotel to meetings and events organisers.”
ROI week started in Brussels four years ago as the week long ROI Methodology Certification Course, taught by Jack Phillips, the father of the ROI Methodology and author of more than 50 books on the subject. During the week there will also be shorter ROI courses, a two day course in Meeting Architecture, a special one day course in Survey Design and a two day course in Presentation Design and Delivery.
