DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge hosts Scandinavian cutting-edge technology get-together

In the framework of the Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2016, the Raval’s DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge recently hosted the traditional get-together between executives and representatives of Scandinavian technology, mobile and app companies.

With the guest star appearance of Mehmet Kaplan, the Swedish minister of Housing, Urban Development and Information Technology, in addition to 200 attendees, most of whom representing major telecommunications consortiums, such as Nasdaq, Northzone, EY and MobilBusiness, everyone had the chance to enjoy an evening with colleagues, making the walls of the DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge resound with Nordic languages.

After a hard day’s work among the hundreds of companies present at Barcelona’s Fira de Montjuïc from 22-25 February, the attendees – mostly Swedish, but also Danish, Norwegian and Spanish – exchanged views on the congress, as well as sounding out new business opportunities and strategic alliances.

As in previous years, the DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge, located in the central Raval neighbourhood, only five minutes away from the famous Ramblas, proved to be an ideal venue for the event: two comfortably appointed floors, with bars on both of them, projectors, rooms with heating/air conditioning, daises, a high-fidelity sound system, security staff, and a professional team of waiters and polyglot PR staff.

The event at the DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge was also attended by representatives of major companies such as the Sweden Mobile Association, Clavister, Witra, Talkpool, VionLabs, Neonode, Appland, White Bull, Screen Interaction, WSI, DMI, and Xoanon, among others.

Magnus Melander, the event’s organizer was fully satisfied with the result: “Each year, we organize our meeting at the DosTrece Restaurant-Lounge – that is clear in our mind. It’s the perfect place for corporate events of this caliber. We hope to be back next year.”
