More than 3,800 people attended the spectacular presentation of the new Mercedes-Benz Clase E, which was held on 26 March at the Campo de las Naciones Exhibition Centre in Madrid.
Hall 6 of the Campo de las Naciones Exhibition Centre in Madrid was transformed into an exclusive “car show” to exhibit the Clase E’s capacity and technological advances – making the new model a yardstick for safety, comfort and environmental sustainability – to existing and potential clients of Mercedes-Benz.
The event, which lasted from 10am-12pm, had several audiovisual areas dedicated to showcasing the brand’s evolution and new specifications.
Outside the hall, there were over 70 vehicle and 25 technicians for those attendees wanting to take a test drive. While the interior of Hall 6, an open plan area with an elegant and sober décor, featured an excellent restaurant service open throughout the event and various exhibition areas. These included a series of information panels about the different aspects of the new Mercedes, and on how the mythical Clase E has evolved over the years; an ample collection of the different varieties of the model; an area dedicated to BlueEFFICIENCY, Mercedes-Benz’s green initiatives geared to proving the company’s commitment to sustainable development; and lastly an ample catalogue of the company’s other models.
At the end of the event, a large party compèred by the TV personality Nuria Roca was held, which included a short but intense show specially created for the launching of the new Clase E, with the participation of well-known performers.
One of the keys to the event’s success was the effort made by all of the collaborators co-ordinated by Divertia Smile Company to adapt to the current crisis, proving that with willpower, collaboration and passion for their work important results can be obtained, as shown by the fact that more than twice as many people attended the event than were originally expected, which required a number of quick and efficient solutions to ensure its success; attendees made over 500 test drives; several orders were made at the event; and 40% of the new orders made in Spain for the Clase E were placed by Madrid-based showrooms.
