The employees of an international company participated in an adventure activity organized by Exploramas in Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park.
Forty-three members of the sales team of an international company embarked on a real challenge to discover the wild side of the Costa del Sol. The place chosen for the event was the Istan part of Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, one of the destination’s natural gems, an imposing natural environment and Biosphere Reserve.
"They asked us for an intense, healthy, outdoor experience, so we prepared a real challenge," explained Manuel Araujo, CEO of Exploramas, the company responsible for organizing the event.
Adventure Challenge is an activity – geared, on this occasion, to team building – in which the participants divided into teams compete against each other in five challenges constituting an exhilarating adventure course.
"The participants, divided into teams, face a number of different challenges requiring ability, aim, skill, orientation and determination," said Araujo.
For instance, the 4x4 challenge is designed to test the ability of the participants, competing in pairs. While blindfolded, the driver has to complete a closed course following the indications of the copilot so as to avoid the obstacles.
"This challenge, which tests the participants’ communication skills, is great fun," said Araujo.
Archery is another of the challenges. The teams not only have to have good aim but also an adequate technique.
Abseiling is another of the challenges that the participants have to overcome, in addition to an orientation test in which they have to find a number of hidden markers, and a mountain bike trail ending at a vantage point offering wonderful views of this part of the Costa del Sol.
"Each one of these challenges is supervised by our qualified explorers, who not only assess the efforts of the participants, but, more importantly, also help them to overcome their own limitations."
