More than 226,000 people, among delegates, trade professionals and visitors, participates in the events and activities held at Malaga's Tradeshow and Congress Centre in February and March.
Over 18,000 delegates attended the congresses held at FYCMA during February and March, featuring the Esteve 5th Cardiovascular Seminar, and the 3rd International Congress for Physical/Sports Activities for the Elderly.
Likewise, the centre hosted the European rally of the aloe vera distributor “Forever Living”, held from 27-28 February, attended by 8,000 delegates from all over Europe; as well as the UIC ERMTS world conference, held from 31 March-2 April, registering the participation of 1,000 experts from all over the world with the aim of discussing the challenges posed by rail networks.
In addition, a number of collectives and organizations used the centre’s facilities to hold their assemblies, internal meetings or public functions.
Regarding the fields of innovation and new technologies, the National Congress of Sales and Marketing Directors took place between 12-14 March, and the e-Stas Symposium, on 27 and 28 March, with attendance figures in the region of 200 and 250 delegates, respectively.
With regard to tradeshows, the year got off to a good start with the 14th edition of Hostelequip, the Equipment, Services, Food and Drink Fair for Hotels, Restaurants and Collectives, whose organization was handled by the centre for the first time, which attracted more than 8,000 trade professionals.
Likewise, the 13th Fair of Village and Towns of Malaga, which was held in Halls 1 and 2 of the centre from 26-29 March, registered over 200,000 visitors.
