CWT Meetings & Events, the award-winning global meetings and events division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), today announced its entry into China’s rapidly growing meetings and events (M&E) market.
CWT Meetings & Events in China has been granted a tour operating license by the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) that will allow it to deliver inbound and domestic M&E in China for its clients. This makes CWT the first global travel management company to manage both its travel management and M&E operations in China in-house.
Organizations looking for support with their M&E activities in China will now have access to the full range of products and services offered by CWT Meetings & Events to its clients around the world.
CWT Meetings & Events’ areas of specialization include event planning and execution – from event strategy to event production, event management and delegate management; venue sourcing; group travel; and strategic meetings management. CWT Meetings & Events’ is where ideas meet results and clients can benefit from a number of CWT tools such as the CWT Meeting Optimizer and the CWT Meetings & Events Dashboard, which give event planners greater visibility and control, improve decision making and help identify opportunities to drive savings.
