On January 25th, we were fortunate enough to host a group of Italian students from Pisa. Their one-week stay included an intensive Spanish course and many cultural activities.
Group stays: all inclusive
The students arrived with a pre-organized programme. Our group stays are all inclusive: full-board accommodation with Spanish families; a transfer service (return trip) to the airport of arrival; an intensive Spanish course taught by our native teachers; and an agenda of cultural activities completing their Andalusian culture immersion.
Guided cultural tours in Granada
In addition to their intensive course, the students went on several guided cultural tours of Granada. These included a visit to the Albaicin and Sacromonte and a stroll through the neighborhood of Realejo with its famous graffiti, with our teachers as guides. They also travelled to Seville, the capital of Andalusia, where they were also treated to a guided tour.
Visit to Sacromonte
Of course, a tour of the Alhambra and El Generalife, the most visited monument in Spain, was a must. The good weather held and they could contemplate the beautiful views that this unique monument affords visitors.
Visit to a local company
As a complement to their Spanish classes, in which they also studied tourism-related content, they had the chance to visit a Granada company. One of the most typical desserts of Granada (and Spain) is churros con chocolate… yummy, right? Our students had the opportunity to learn how to prepare them and to understand how a company of this type, known as churrería, works.
They had a great time! And the best thing is that they could eat freshly prepared churros with chocolate… a whole experience!
They have already returned to Italy and the truth is that we had a great time during their stay. We hope to see you again very soon!
