The Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre will be hosting the 1st edition of "My Pet," the only show of its kind in Andalusia, from 19-21 October.

The Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre (FYCMA) – in collaboration with the Costa del Sol Dog Society – will be hosting the 1st edition "My Pet," the only pet show held in Andalusia, from 19-21 October.

Geared both to the general public and trade professionals, companies related to the pet industry will be showcasing their products and services at the show, which will also include exhibitions, activities and workshops revolving around pets.

Parallel to the show, FYCMA will also be hosting – from 20-21 October – the 16th National and International Dog Show of Malaga, organized by the Costa del Sol Dog Society and authorized by the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the Royal Spanish Dog Society.

Thus, on the one hand, the show will feature an exhibition area where pet shops, equipment suppliers, vets, breeders, dog groomers, farm schools, pet hotels and protection societies, among others, will showcase their products and services. And, on the other hand, the Costa del Sol Dog Society will be offering a full parallel programme of activities, featuring exhibitions by the Royal Guard’s police dog unit, together with other dog units belonging to the local and national police forces.

In addition, "My Pet" will also include dog grooming demonstrations, training and agility workshops, and a dog show for all breeds, with or without pedigree, among other activities. Likewise, there will also be a non-professional show in which all visitors are invited to participate with their pets.

"My Pet" is part of FYCMA’s strategy to create a quality, cross-sectoral show agenda, meeting the needs both of trade professionals and the general public. The show will be open on Friday from 5-9pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-8pm.

The show is organized by FYCMA – belonging to the Economy, Inland Revenue and Human Resources Department of Malaga City Council – in collaboration with the Costa del Sol Dog Society.
