One of the pioneers in electric vehicles in Spain, Cooltra has recently presented its fleet of 30 cutting-edge electric scooters in Barcelona and Valencia. With this initiative, the company reaffirms its commitment to sustainable transport.

Cooltra’s cutting-edge electric scooters are ideal for moving about town and have the same specifications as a 125cc motorbike. The scooters take three hours to recharge and have a range of 80km.

Several companies and private clients have already gone green thanks to Cooltra’s electric scooters, both as a means of transport for moving about town and, in the case of large companies, as an onsite transport alternative. Inditex, the Spanish textile group, has provided its employees with a number of Cooltra’s scooters for travelling between buildings at the company’s factory in Corunna.

Barcelona currently has 37 EV recharging stations and over 200 recharging points throughout the city with the aim of encouraging people to use this mode of transport.

The EV recharging stations supply green energy coming from renewable sources, free of emissions and greenhouse gases.
