The time when everyone did what they wanted at work has passed, since companies increasingly value the capacity for teamwork and interacting together in their employees. For this reason, PortAventura Business & Events has developed a number of team-building activities.
With the aim of encouraging interaction between employees, organizing and coordinating team members, and improving personal and professional attitudes, PortAventura has designed the "Chef of a Day" programme. One of the last companies to participate in this activity was T-Systems. During two hours, the company’s employees, divided into teams, prepared a starter, a main course and a dessert for a very demanding client. The winner was the team showing the greatest union, creativity and innovation.

In 2014, PortAventura hosted over 150 corporate events totalling 65,000 participants, 61% of which were of an international and 39% national.
In the words of Laura Valdeolivas, manager of PortAventura Business & Events: "We continue to strive daily to offer companies new activities geared to helping them to improve relations amongst their employees and encourage them to work together."
The markets with which the Business & Events Division of PortAventura currently works most include Spain, UK and France, although this year’s objective is to drum up more business in Germany, Holland and Scandinavia. With this strategy "our aim is to consolidate our position as a benchmark venue for corporate events, business incentives and conventions," Valdeolivas concluded.
