Congress Rental Singapore, a member of the Congress Rental Network (CRN), has delivered congress systems to a high profile economic meeting with three days notice.
The meeting was organised by the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) – a forum for facilitating economic growth, co-operation, trade and investment in the Asia Pacific region – at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The event was organised jointly by the Singapore Government, the APEC Secretariat based in Singapore and the Russian APEC member. The four-day meeting was attended by senior officials from APEC’s 21 member economies.
Jeremy Ducklin from Congress Rental Australia comments: "Congress Rental Singapore was set up in January 2006, and provides services throughout Asia and has supplied congress equipment for many high profile events. The APEC meeting provided a particular challenge as only a month’s notice was given and the final decision on the contract was made three days before the event. Congress Rental Singapore won the APEC business over its competitors because it was able to provide digital receivers where other companies could only provide analogue. In total, it supplied congress systems for four areas including a translation booth for each room (translating Russian to English) with 165 Integra receivers and 244 microphones. It was supported by CRN members from Australia and Malaysia to supply the equipment needed."
CRN chairperson Panagiotis Podimatas, from PC Podimatas in Greece, comments: "We are delighted that Congress Rental Singapore was able to provide congress systems for a high profile event at such short notice. It highlights the professionalism of our members and it was achieved without compromising the quality of service. It also shows that our members work in partnership in order to meet the requirements of our clients. We work hard to maintain our standards and this event is an example of why we have earned our place as a world leading supplier of congress system."
