Laura Perez Torres and Angela Ortega Granados, the sponsors of this initiative, have both been living in Malaga for some time now and are communication, sports, and new technology enthusiasts.
Two Andalusian journalists have just started up Agencia Deportiva Avance (ADA), a communication agency specializing in sports. After winning one of the Malaga University Spin-off Prizes some months ago, the company now provides a broad range of services: event organization (clinics, press conferences, championships, competitions, etc.), corporate communication, social media, news coverage (copy, audio, photography and video), graphic and web design, media monitoring (on and offline), and coaching.
These two young journalists are acutely aware of the importance of specialization and adapting to the new information environment and, for this reason, one of the company’s lines of business are its training workshops, geared both to university students and professionals working in communication, sports, design and new information technologies. Likewise, the company also organizes and conducts seminars on education, sports and health at schools and institutes, since sports teach the young essential values.
