A strategic partnership agreement between Air China and China National Convention Centre (CNCC) was signed on 20 December. The two partners aim to jointly explore the global MICE market and promote Beijing as a leading destination for international conventions and exhibitions.
Air China and CNCC will work hand-in-hand to market Beijing in the global MICE market, specifically targeting international association organizers, PCOs and media. The two partners will also provide local associations, institutions, universities, and other organizations with strong support during the whole process of organizing international events, from bidding to logistics. Furthermore, international organizers holding conventions or exhibitions at CNCC will benefit from Air China's "Convention Package" discounts on inspection trips to Beijing and transfers for international attendees. Air China and CNCC's "Convention Package", in partnership with Star Alliance Conventions Plus and Meetings Plus, provides international organizers with a broader range of options.
In addition, the CNCC Grand Hotel, a 4-star, 420 room property adjacent to CNCC, which will be joining Air China's partnership hotel network soon, plans to offer attractive ticket and hotel packages with premium service.
