Chic Outlet Shopping’s villages offer visitors a combination of a luxury brand experience, elegant outdoor settings, and top quality hospitality services specially tailored to the needs of groups, events and incentives.

With nine luxury shopping destinations located just under an hour away from some of Europe’s most important cities (and with a capacity to handle groups of 10-2,500 people), Chic Outlet Shopping’s Village Collection in Europe has become an interesting fixture for groups, events and incentive programmes of all types and sizes.

In 2013, Chic Outlet Shopping’s nine villages in Europe hosted 483 events for approximately 36,400 people from 51 countries. As news has spread in the industry about the villages’ special MICE offerings, these have become attractive options for groups, events and incentive programmes. In 1Q 2014, the number of visitors increased year-on-year by 75%, thus demonstrating the growing popularity of luxury shopping as a MICE activity. Through their group and event programmes, the villages attracted a large number of international clients. In 2014, to date, Asians have represented 62% of these groups and 57% of all visitors.

Since spending on MICE activities has increased, Chic Outlet Shopping has developed an online booking platform for showcasing its group, event and incentive offerings, with the aim of facilitating bookings and inquiries. The platform features a form for requesting specific information about the services offered by each one of the villages.

Chic Outlet Shopping has recently announced the appointment of Marcelo Molinari to the post of MICE director for the whole collection.
