The 16th edition of Catalonia’s International Tourism Fair 2007 will be held between 19 and 22 April at the Montjuic enclosure of the Fira de Barcelona.
Andalusian tourism
Andalusia will be represented by Turismo Andaluz, which in turn will represent several official organisations including the provincial tourist boards of Almeria, Cordova, Granada, Cadiz, Seville, the Costa del Sol, Huelva and Jaen. Turismo Andaluz will be at Stand 514, located in Pavilion 1.
Special invitations
This year, special invitations have been extended to Argentina, Expo Zaragoza 2008 and Asturias.
The event will also include a broad programme of leisure and sports activities, competitions, draws, all kinds of entertainment, etc.
Figures for the 2006 edition
Roughly 204,000 visitors and 600 journalists attended last year edition. Likewise, there were over 1,500 direct and indirect exhibitors from 73 countries and all the Spanish autonomous communities, with 50,000 metres squared of exhibit space.
