Canaries Congress Centre to Host 31st Spanish Knee Society Congress

The Alfredo Kraus Auditorium will be hosting 300 Spanish knee specialists from 18-20 April.



From 18-20 April, the Canaries Congress Centre will be hosting the 31st Annual Congress of the Spanish Knee Society /SEROD), with the attendance of around 300 specialists.



Delegates from all over Spain will address issues of current interest to specialists, such as new procedures and surgical techniques, as well as sharing experiences and knowledge.



The programme includes five roundtables, led by a panel of experts belonging to SEROD, in four of which burning issues, such as knee osteotomy, sports medicine, strategies for the correct implantation of primary knee replacements, and the complex replacements in prosthetic knee surgery will be addressed.



The fifth roundtable will be made up of residents who will deliver the keynote, "Periprosthetic knee fractures." Jose Maria Vilarrubias will also giving a keynote lecture on "Knee osteotomies, Art and Science."



On Friday, seven foreign specialists will be attending the congress to contribute their international experience to the proceedings.
