Created in 1983 by the French lawyer Vincent Pinatel, this football tournament is held every two years in a different place. Previous editions have had as many as 74 teams from over 30 European, American, Asian, and African countries.
The Cambrils Park Business & Events resort has been deemed adequate to host an international event of such characteristics, since it offers superior 4-star accommodation on a beautiful stretch of coast, with its own unique cuisine and tourist attractions. The matches will be played at the sports facilities of the Futbol Salou complex, belonging to the same group. Both venues have a long track record in organizing international sports events, hosting first division teams attracted by its eight professional football pitches (including two with hybrid sports turf and another two with natural turf).
Undoubtedly the most important on Cambrils Park’s agenda, this event will put the media spotlight on this stretch of the Costa Dorada.
