The 4th edition of MCE Central & Eastern Europe, the B2B event promoting MICE business in CEE & CIS countries, is scheduled to take place at the Radisson Blu (Bucharest, Romania), from 9-11 February 2014.
Even though the event is still months away, the Europe Congress team is already selecting, screening and reference checking all buyers to ensure exhibitors a potentially high ROI. As a result of this activity, a large number of destinations and suppliers have already signed up for participation. "We are happy to note an increasing interest in the event concept, showing the potential of Central and Eastern Europe to offer quality, innovation, and value for money," said Alain Pallas, CEO of Europe Congress.
By invitation only, this exclusive event is expected to congregate between 120-150 buyers, 100-120 participants from CEE convention bureaus and solution providers, 15-20 press representatives and 15-20 speakers and VIPs.
Europe Congress is supported by the Confederation of Industry, Services & Trade (CPISC) for Romania, established in 2003 with the purpose of helping representatives of the Romanian business community (including leading companies in the energy, mining, services and trade industries) to overcome the obstacles that have cropped up during the country’s transition from a communist state to a successful market economy. Romania’s economy experienced rapid growth prior to the global recession and was dubbed as the "Tiger of Eastern Europe," a sobriquet that the country is fighting to regain.
The hosting partner, the Radisson Blu, features a modern design, exquisite dining, an Asian-themed spa, a fully-equipped gym, an indoor swimming pool, and Bucharest’s largest casino. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Bucharest, overlooking the city and the former Royal Palace, close to Bucharest’s business, shopping and museum districts, and with easy access to Henri Coanda (OTP) International Airport.
The Europe Congress team is pleased to announce their partnership with the International Association of Exhibition and Events, which has over 8,000 members that organize more than 15,000 exhibitions and shows worldwide. David DuBois, president and CEO of IAEE, will be imparting his knowledge about the industry, as well as facilitating an interactive dialogue between the attendees.
