The Beatriz Palace & Spa Hotel in Fuengirola (Costa del Sol) has recently been awarded the prestigious "Q" for Quality Tourism certificate by the Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism (ICTE).
The “Q” certificate, which is awarded by an independent committee of industry professionals, in collaboration with the ICTE, is given to those properties, companies or natural heritage sites that not only fulfil a set of rigorous quality requirements as regards service and internal management, but also actively pursue service excellence and client satisfaction.
The Beatriz Palace & Spa Hotel is a beachfront property located next to Fuengirola’s Sohail Castle. This modern four-star hotel has 285 rooms, all affording sea views, restaurants such as La Alacena, Doña Lola and Tasca La Taurina, a snack bar, a lobby bar, and an outdoor pool, as well as a fabulous spa centre offering health treatments and massages in a relaxing atmosphere. The property also has 10 bright function rooms suitable for all types of events, and a variety of sports facilities.
Likewise the Yaramar, Angela, Florida Spa, Fuengirola Beach, Alay, and San Cristobal Hotels have had their “Q” for Quality Tourism certificates renewed by the ICTE, after an exhaustive annual audit carried out by independent bodies. AEHCOS (Association of Hotel Owners on the Costa del Sol) now has 29 members with the said certificate.
