Work on Baza’s new trade fair and exhibition centre, which started in January of this year, will be finished in time to host the 6th Eastern Andalusian Spanish Thoroughbred Horse Show, to be held from 29 August to 1 September.
New exhibition centre
With an area of 4,900m2 housing both a trade fair and exhibition centre and a ring with additional facilities covering 800m2, this new venue has been designed to host events related to the agricultural, livestock and food industries, such as trade fairs, livestock auctions, product exhibitions, and fishing and hunting trade shows, among others.
With an overall budget of 2,054,000 euros, 1,600,000 of which have been provided by the Department of Agriculture and Fishing in the form of a subsidy, the project includes the rehabilitation of the livestock market’s existing buildings, equipping them with modern services and facilities, which will be carried out during its second phase.
