The 4th edition of the social event "IV Contigo Somos Más Paz", an initiative organized by the Ananta Foundation, the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual Association, and the Valores para Vivir Foundation, will be held at Barcelona's Auditorium on the eve of the United Nations's International Day of Peace. The aim of this event, to which admission is free for the general public, is to transmit a message of fraternity and concord to the whole world. In the region of 2,000 people attended last year's edition held at the Madrid Congress Centre, and it is hoped that this year's edition will register the same attendance figures.
The event was first held in 2008 to support the United Nations’ International Day of Peace, which takes place every year on 21 September. Its chief aim is to heighten the awareness of society that everyone is involved in change and possesses a very powerful tool, the energy of goodwill, to foster harmony and balance in his or her environment.
The keynote speakers at the 4th edition of quot;Contigo Somos Más Paz", including – Federico Mayor Zaragoza, Alex Rovira, Jorge Carvajal, Jayanti Karpalini, and Joan Antoni Mele, among others – will share their message of peace and their own experiences. The event will be presented by the journalist Ima Sanchis.
