Access to VIP lounges, express massages, hairdressing salon, and VIP parking are just some of the services available to travellers before starting their summer holidays.
Making the most of the start of the summer holiday season, GIS Trade Center provides all travellers with a series of services under the Premium Traveller brand, with the aim of allowing them to start their holiday at Barcelona Airport (El Prat), before the departure of their flight.
Along these lines, the airport’s VIP parking service has launched a special holiday rate allowing travellers to drop their car in front of the terminal for €99 a week. With this service, travellers leave their vehicle at the entrance of the terminal, giving the keys to the VIP parking service staff who then look after it during their holiday and return it to them clean when they get back from their trip.
Once through the security checks, travellers have the opportunity to use the VIP lounges, equipped with comfortable sofas, restaurants, Internet access and national and international papers. Access to the VIP lounges costs €25, without the need of flying business.
Depending on the time that travellers have to wait before the departure of their flight, Premium Traveller offers them a range of attractive options at the airport itself. For instance, an express massage at the Skycenter (lasting 10, 15 or 20 minutes for €19, €25 and €29, respectively), or a haircut, manicure or spa session, including a sauna and heated loungers at the hairdressing salon and the wellness centre, both located at Terminal 1.
In addition, if flights are delayed and travellers have to wait longer than expected at the airport, Premium Traveller offers them Air Rooms, with a bed, shower and Internet access, which can be rented for half- or full days, and Air Fitness, a gym open around the clock, free for Air Room clients and costing €10 for other travellers.
Lastly, Premium Traveller also includes the VIP Fast Pass, an exclusive service for VIP clients and business travellers. This service allows clients to pass quickly and unobtrusively through Barcelona Airport. GIS Trade Center staff members are on hand to meet travellers, handling their luggage and other red tape, taking them quickly through security checks, and then transferring them by private vehicle to the plane.
