Barcelo Sevilla Renacimiento collaborates with 2016 SECPAL Congress charity initiative

The Barcelo Sevilla Renacimiento, Barcelo Congresos, the SEUR Foundation and the Alhambra International Association have joined forces to support the “Charity Space” initiative implemented in the framework of the 11th International Congress of the Spanish Society of Palliative Care (SECPAL).

The objective of this collaboration is to dedicate an area of the host venue’s registration area to the collection of toiletries, such as bath gel, shampoo and tooth brushes, for their subsequent donation to disadvantaged groups.

In this way, delegates will have the chance to participate in an initiative geared to meeting the basic hygiene needs of Syrian refugees in Greece.

The Alhambra International Association will be responsible for distributing these articles among the refugees in Greece using SEUR’s logistic network.

The 11th International Congress of the Spanish Society of Palliative Care will take place at the Barcelo Sevilla Renacimiento’s Gran Sevilla Convention Centre from 12-14 May.
