The hotel is in the midst of an ambitious refurbishment project affecting its 869 rooms, meeting facilities and communal areas, which will implemented progressively.
The Auditorium Madrid, an authentic congress centre in the Spanish capital thanks to its 100,000smq of facilities and 59 function rooms, with a capacity of hosting over 2,000 people, will be undergoing a number of interesting developments in 2015. These feature its integration in Marriott International, a hospitality industry leader with over 3,000 properties and 19 brands in 72 countries worldwide, which will benefit the hotel’s internationalization, in addition to a full refurbishment geared to offering guests a superior experience.
Located close to Barajas Airport and the tradeshow complex IFEMA, the hotel is currently in the midst of fully renovating all of its facilities, including guest rooms (of which 200 have already been refurbished), meeting rooms, and communal areas – most of the work finishing by the end of the year.
Thanks to the property’s structure and functionality, renovation work will not affect guests staying at the hotel – or its meeting and event activity – who will continue to receive the same quality services as before.
