The professional committee of Seville Congress & Convention Bureau (SCCB), formed by the Chamber of Commerce, Sevilla City Council, and 67 members, has unanimously approved the election of the institution’s new president and vice-president.
After the sole nomination was put to the vote, Arturo Serra, manager of the Ayre Hotel Sevilla, and Jose Maria Avila, national director development of Grupo Pacifico, were appointed as president and vice-president, respectively.
As a result of these appointments, the undertaking accepted by the Chamber of Commerce when taking charge of the institution’s financial and administrative management to strengthen the position of industry professionals on the convention bureau’s board of directors has been fully satisfied.
