Located in the centre of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, facing the beach of las Canteras, the Canaries Congress Centre will be hosting the II Summer School of the Spanish Association on Congress Centres (APCE) from 21-23 September.
As with last year's edition, meetings and event industry professionals from all over Spain will be attending. All those professionals interested in attending this important educational event in the capital of Gran Canaria will be able to register shortly.
The issues that will addressed in the summer school sessions will provide attendees with a global and updated vision of the meetings and event market, as well as the possibility of improving their knowledge of the use of tools that are essential for their job, such as the APCE DATA, a unique national database. This database shared by APCE members aims to facilitate event marketing by means of identifying national congresses and conventions held every year at a different venue in Spain.
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Canary Isles' most economically and culturally dynamic city and candidate city to the European Capital of Culture 2016, will be hosting APCE's event from 21-23 September. The many advantages of this cosmopolitan city – such as its good flight connections with the Peninsula and a number of European cities, agreeable climate, sunlight hours and an excellent choice of hotels, along with its cuisine, shops, cultural and leisure activities, and heritage – make it a top business travel destination.
