Angel Leon’s Alevante opens for second season

Run by the chef Angel Leon at the Meliá Sancti Petri (province of Cadiz), Alevante opened for its second season yesterday.

Owner of the restaurant Aponiente, with two Michelin stars, three Repsol Soles, 2012 national gastronomy award, and 2017 European Chef of the Year, Angel Leon offers a culinary experience based on the major successes of the 10 seasons of Aponiente, using fresh local produce.

Open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, Alevante can seat up to 30 and offers a 16-dish tasting menu for €100 and another 12-dish menu for €80, both with the possibility of wine pairing. Furthermore, the restaurant’s wine list has over 100 varieties, with the accent on the Vinos de la Tierra de Cádiz, chosen by the Rota sommelier Juan Ruiz Henestrosa, a collaborator of Leon and national gastronomy award winner on two occasions.

After the resounding success of its first season, Alevante was awarded one Repsol Sol and included in the Michelin guide, the only restaurant in Chiclana de la Frontera to have achieved this.
