Malaga Airport will soon have additional international flight connections with North Africa and Portugal, as well as with different destinations in the Caribbean and South America. An Andalusian backed venture with its centre of operations in Andalusia, Andalus Airlines will be presented on Friday, 30 May, at the Latin American and European Tourism, Art and Culture Fair (EUROAL 2008), due to be held at Torremolinos’ Congress and Exhibition Centre.
Affordable prices, deals adapted to consumer needs and improved connections with destinations in the Caribbean and South America for Andalusian travellers, via direct flights from Malaga, without having to stop over in Madrid as was previously the case, are some of advantages offered by Andalus Airlines.
The company is currently in the process of designing its strategies and purchasing its fleet, including several Boeing 767s, which will cover long-haul routes (initially the Caribbean). Nevertheless, the airline will start by establishing services to North Africa.
