During the first six months of the year, Almasa has been commissioned to provide portable toilets for four important events in Spain.
Almasa at the UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid
The AZCA area and Berlin Park housed the fan zones of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan during the final of the UEFA Champions League in Madrid.
A giant screen for watching the pre-game warm up and the final, the teams’ official shop and leisure facilities contributed to making these areas secure and welcoming for the fans of both teams.
A number of events related to the final were held in Madrid, and Almasa installed many of its wide range of products, such as environmentally-friendly portable toilets for the general public and the fans in their respective areas, as well as a number of top-range portable trailer toilets for the events organized by the sponsors in La Moraleja.

Almasa at the 4th EU-LAC Summit
On 15 May, Madrid’s IFEMA hosted the multitudinous EU-LAC Summit, bringing together the heads of government and state of 60 countries from both continents during two days.
For the summit, Almasa installed two washroom areas, each featuring the top-range Manhatten model, chosen for its sobriety and elegance, as well as other portable toilets for the organizers, medical services, etc., throughout the venue.

2010 Larios Fashion Calendar presentation party
For the party organized to celebrate the presentation of the 2010 Larios Fashion Calendar, held on 21 February at the exclusive new four-star garage of the Santo Domingo Hotel in Madrid, which was converted into an underground discotheque for the occasion, Almasa installed its modular system on the second floor; a complex job due to the venue’s difficult access. This system was chosen because of its elegance and flexibility as regards installation.
Totally integrated with the décor and style of the party, the washroom area was a great success with the guests, who included the 12 models featuring in the calendar and well-known faces of Madrid’s nightlife and the world of fashion and show business.

Almasa at the 30th edition of the America’s Cup
On the occasion of the 30th edition of the America’s Cup, held in Valencian waters last February, in which the BMW-Oracle team beat the defender Alinghi, Almasa was commissioned to install, against the clock, two top-range trailer toilets, in addition to a number of environmentally friendly toilets, for the party held at the BMW-Oracle team’s facilities, a few hours after their victory.
