In addition to the traditional Christmas concerts, the Manuel de Falla Auditorium (Granada) has hosted a series of didactic concerts and the 15th Road Race award ceremony.
To end the 2012 season, during November and December the Manuel de Falla Auditorium (Granada) has hosted a variety of concerts and an award ceremony. Specifically, from 29-30 November the auditorium was the venue for a series of didactic concerts specially designed for children and youngsters at different levels of education so as to offer them the opportunity to familiarize themselves with and enjoy live music.

As to further concerts, Jose Merce performed at the auditorium on 1 December, followed by the concerts performed by the City of Granada Orchestra (OCG), including a family concert and the traditional Christmas concerts, on 2 and 14-15 of December, respectively, the concert given by the Esperanza Brotherhood, on the 5th, the concert performed by Marina Heredia on the 20th, and lastly a concert in homage of Maestro Alonso, which took place on the 21st.

Furthermore, the 15th Road Race award ceremony – sponsored by the provincial government –was held on 4 December, while the 3rd French Horn Master Classes took place on the 7th and 8th, and the Granada Brass Brand Competition on the 22nd.
Members of Alhambra’s event staff acted as ushers at all the aforementioned concerts and events.
