On Wednesday, 29 July, the Federico Garcia Lorca – whose aim is to become a benchmark for contemporary culture and to keep alive the memory of the poet, whose legacy it will house.
For the opening of the Federico Garcia Lorca, which took place on 29 July, Alhambra Hostesses provided a team of 10 event staff members of both sexes. In addition, during August, four members of Alhambra’s staff will be on hand to attend to the needs of those who wish to visit the building during the open house days (from11am-2pm and 7-10pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays).
The chief aim of the centre to house the more than 5,000 documents forming the poet’s legacy, currently located at the Students’ Residence of Madrid, although, according to official sources, this will not take place before the coming autumn.
