With €65,000 in prize money divided between 15 categories, it is one of the most prestigious international architecture awards.
From 22-23 November, the Granada Science Park hosted the general meeting of Bigmat, the building, hardware and DIY suppliers, which was attended by 600 representatives from all the countries in which the company has a presence. The event’s programme included the Bigmat awards ceremony, which acknowledges the work of architects with studios in Spain, Belgium, France, Italy and the Czech Republic.
For this important occasion, Alhambra provided a team of event staff.

In November, Alhambra has also provided event staff for the 23th Congress of the Andalusian Society for Hypertension and Cardiovascular Risk (SAHTA), which took place at the Abades Nevada Palace Hotel (Granada) from 7-9 November, and whose programme included the 11th Nursing Seminar and the 9th Pharmacists Seminar, both held on the 8th; the Local TV Broadcasters Show, organized by the Association of Local Telecommunications Operators of Andalusia, which was held from 6-8 November at the Nazaries Hotel (Granada); the provincial government of Granada’s honours and distinctions ceremony, held at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium on 14 November; the AAPSM seminars, which took place at the Abades Nevada Palace Hotel from 14-16 November; and a congress addressing building works contracts and consumer protection, which was held at the Faculty of Law of Granada University from 20-22 November.
Furthermore, Alhambra was commissioned to provide interpreters for the CEDE executive seminar (7 November), the meeting of the Malaga Valley Club/OMT (19-20 November), and ISMS Forum (28 November), all of which were held at the Malaga Tradeshow and Congress Centre, as well as the 1st seminar celebrating the millennium of the Kingdom of Granada, which took place at the Palace of Charles V (Granada) on 29 November.
Lastly, Alhambra handled protocol services for the 5th Fortuny Fashion Show for Young Designers, which was held at CajaGranada’s central office from 14-15 November.
