The second edition of "Ágora. City Commerce Forum", which is scheduled to be held at Malaga's Tradeshow and Congress Centre from 6-8 May 2009, will include for the second year running the "Exhibition Area" and "Interactive Workshop", two of the forum’s areas offering public and private enterprises the opportunity to showcase innovative projects keyed to the commercial growth of cities.

The "Exhibition Area", which last year showcased 118 real initiatives presented by the public agencies and administrations of 53 municipalities, will include the scale models of a larger number of city commerce initiatives, thus facilitating project analysis and making the exhibition more attractive for visitors.

The agencies interested in participating in the "Experience Area" – which is the largest exhibition of good practices in Spain – must present their proposals before 12 January. The proposals are classified in 17 areas of intervention, including actions related to town planning and architecture, city government and management, commercial activities, and social and economic growth.

The projects can cover large urban area or smaller areas, such as streets or boroughs, and include actions keyed to tourism, leisure, culture, city marketing, services, and heritage programmes, among others.
