AEHCOS has redesigned its website, now available in four languages, and upgraded its online booking engine. In addition, it has created a corporate Facebook profile as a first step to reinforcing its presence in social networks.

Visually more attractive, more dynamic and faster and with a greater number of useful tools keyed to making it easier for both visitors and AEHCOS members to search for information, the new website includes a map of the Costa del Sol indicating the number of members per municipality. Information about each hotel, with a direct link to its corporate website, is now just a click away.

In addition, potential members can now apply for membership online. Latest news and new features are also included on the home page, as well as an agenda/calendar containing tourism related events and activities. For members, advantages include being able to access circulars concerning legal, tax and labour issues, and documents related to the legislation currently in force in the industry.

The site's booking engine has also been upgraded so as to facilitate the booking process for potential clients.

The chief aim of the association's new corporate profile on Facebook is to harness the potential of social networks for branding and to drive traffic to its website and booking engine.
