Malaga City Council, Malaga Provincial Council, the Regional Government and Malaga Chamber of Commerce have joined forces de launch the ad campaign "MalagaCon: congresses with you". The main aim of this initiative, which was presented on 12 June 2008, is to attract clients on a regional and national level, above all from Andalusia, Madrid and Barcelona.
The first phase of the campaign, which will have an initial budget of 90,000 euros, will consist in e-mail and land mail campaigns, as well as 500 personal interviews. Geared to professional associations, especially medical ones, and professional congress organizers (PCOs), the campaign will run for six months, although the idea is to carry out promotional activities over the next three years.
Malaga to host ICCA seminar
The city of Malaga has been chosen to host the Research, Sales and Marketing Programme, an international seminar organised by ICCA scheduled to be held during the second half of 2009. Leading meetings and event organisation companies and around 250 trade professionals are expected to attend the event.
