The Adelaide Convention Centre's new interactive website will provide clients and visitors with all the information they need about the venue and its enviable walk-everywhere location in the heart of the city.
The new website's user-friendly format further enhances the customer experience as easy, supportive and enjoyable, and reinforces the Adelaide Convention Centre's promise of Gold Service, Green Attitude.
The sophisticated new home page allows visitors to navigate through Adelaide from a bird's eye view and see the distance in minutes to the city's landmarks, airport, beaches, cafes and entertainment.
A specially-designed Carbon Calculator gives convenors the opportunity to measure the expected carbon footprint of their event and the option to offset the emissions.
"We aim to be the most environmentally responsible convention centre in Australia, and we have the opportunity to share our Gold Service, Green Attitude with our customers," Adelaide Convention Centre, Chief Executive, Alec Gilbert said.
"This free online calculator will take into account your space requirements and catering and provide an estimate on the carbon emissions, and through our partnership with Trees for Life we can then offset these emissions to create a carbon-neutral event," he said.
Gold Service, Green Attitude is just one item convenors can add to "My Event Satchel"- the perfect tool to make it quick and easy to download documents from the Adelaide Convention Centre website.
While browsing through the site visitors can simply add any documents of interest to their satchel without navigating away from their current page. When the list is finalised, visitors can download all of their required information in one simple step.
Online users can keep updated with the Adelaide Convention Centre's Latest News, What's On information, Public Events, and Regattas Bistro, through easy-to-use links on the top and side bar menus.
