1PMI Events is collaborating in a sci-fi event scheduled to take place from 16-17 November in Palma de Mallorca.
Under the name "Proyecto 145," the event will be held at the Horizonte Hotel in Palma de Mallorca from 16-17 November 2013, with the support of 1PMI Events.
The event features a full programme tailored to sci-fi fans, from Jules Verne, the true father of science fiction, to the present day, with a special mention going to the 30th anniversary of the film The Return of the Jedi.
With free access for the general public, the programmed activities – workshops, talks, colloquia, exhibitions, board games, demonstrations, shows and competitions – will start at 10am on Saturday, 16 November, and end at 7pm on Sunday.
There will also be a number of children’s activities:
- Fantasy roundtable discussion.
- Elf sculpture workshop.
- Demonstration on how to use Indiana Jones’ whip.
- Harry Potter magic wand workshop.
- Sci-fi masquerade.
- And a lot more…
The Horizonte Hotel is also offering extraterrestrial rates: €50 per person (children under 14 free when accompanied by two adults); check-in on 15 and check-out on 16 November (two nights, including breakfast).
