Silversea Cruises has announced the forthcoming launch of the new 2022/2023 itineraries, which improve the all-inclusive offer. For the first time, customers will be able to enjoy at least one free shore excursion, from a variety of experiences at each stopover, on all the new cruises and for the entire fleet of the ten ultra luxury ships. It will also include return flights and transfers.
Silversea's new travel collection, which includes departures between March 2022 and May 2023, represents the company's largest and most comprehensive programme, with almost 12% more itineraries than the previous launch. This new proposal includes 315 trips to the seven continents, 669 destinations in 114 countries and 61 inaugural stops.
Because Silversea's fares will now include shore excursions and return flights, travel agents will receive a higher commission on each booking in absolute terms.
Guests will be able to choose the shore excursions included in the price, as well as the tailor-made 'Silversea Selected' excursions, from 180 days before departure, through the my.silversea.com portal, while repeat customers of the 'Venetian Society' club will have 30 additional days in advance to make their selection.
The inclusion of return flights on all trips will improve the offer for all guests. Also included is the free up grade to business on some destinations and trips, such as 'Round the World' and 'Grand Voyages' cruises.
Advantages on 'Expedition' trips
For those who wish to organise their own trip, equivalent discounts are offered in the form of air credit. Depending on the flight schedule and the departure and arrival of the ship, guests can also enjoy one or two nights in a hotel, or the use of a room for one day.
Silversea's guests will have a guaranteed personal service of almost one crew member for each passenger, onboard entertainment, and other services included.
In addition, as part of the all-inclusive offer, Silversea customers will have the following advantages on the Expedition trips: internal flights on selected itineraries, highly qualified expedition team, enrichment talks by the Expedition team, Parka included in the cold regions, free backpack and water bottle, use of wetsuits and snorkelling equipment on selected trips and guided tours in Zodiac, land and sea excursions, as well as land activities.
Members of the Venetian Society can book the new 2022/2023 itineraries on a preferential basis from 1st December. Reservations for all others will open on 10 December. Distribution partners are invited to attend live seminars on 30 November and 1 December to learn about the highlights of Silversea's new 2022/2023 collection of itineraries.
