EventsCase has lent further support to the growth of online experiences by teaming up with the Virtual Event Institute (VEI), a global platform designed to educate, inspire and support its members in the hosting of virtual and hybrid events.
Part of the agreement will see EventsCase - the industry’s leading event management technology - become the official platform partner of one of the most eagerly anticipated editions of VEI’s ‘Summit’ series, covering “The Future of the Global Events Industry”.
VEI will gain additional benefits by using EventsCase’s market-leading virtual event solution to host talks from a full agenda of speakers.
Jose Bort, CEO and Co-Founder at EventsCase, said: “As we continue to see a rising demand for our virtual toolset, it makes perfect sense to align ourselves with organisations like VEI, which is helping organisers pivot to models that have been the industry’s saving grace in 2020.
“Given the current restrictions on physical events, we hope that VEI Summit will drive the type of discussions that could shape the industry’s future direction.”
Despite only launching in July 2020, the profile of VEI has grown exponentially following the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting shift to online-only experiences. Previous Summits have been attended by an estimated 15,000 attendees from over 80 countries, with much of the audience consisting of senior buyers and decision-makers at major event brands and agencies.
EventsCase has reaped plenty of its own success following the introduction of a virtual event solution which, combined with its existing tools for in-person experiences, allows organisers to expand their audience and international reach via hybrid formats.
In addition to hosting live and on-demand content, its technology boasts a range of digital networking tools, allowing for group and one-to-one video calls as well as virtual product demos, to help users generate new sources of revenue from their online events.
