Representatives of FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga) will travel tomorrow, Wednesday 10 April, to Oporto to participate in the next annual meeting of the Iberian Chapter of ICCA -International Congress and Convention Association-, the world's largest association of congress organisers. In addition, the meeting, which will run until Friday 12, will include a training program with talks by the hand of experts to discuss issues relevant to the sector. This meeting will allow the Palace to get in touch with potential clients.
FYCMA (Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga) will be attending the annual meeting of the Iberian Chapter of ICCA -International Congress and Convention Association- from tomorrow, Wednesday 10 April, a call aimed at specialised training and the generation of contacts between the members of the network, made up of more than 60 organisers of congresses and conventions from Portugal and Spain. The meeting, which will run until Friday 12 in Oporto, will allow the Palace to generate business opportunities to attract new congresses and events to Malaga.
The conference will include a training program for the recycling of knowledge where attendees will access the latest trends. In this sense, the session with clients to analyze work experiences, as well as with experts to learn customer management tools. An outstanding participation of the composer and singer David Ordinas will take place. Also present will be the presidents of the Mediterranean, UK and Irish Chapters, Eliza Tsolakou and Diane Waldrone respectively, as well as ICCA's regional director for Europe, Elif Balci.
On the other hand, FYCMA will participate in the Business Exchange activity to promote its facilities and services together with ten other venues of the same characteristics that are members of the association. In the same one also they will approach a workshop of databases ICCA.
ICCA is an association that brings together the main companies organizing events and congresses in the international arena. At present, a total of 1,100 companies and members from almost 100 different countries are members.
