Scheduled to be held from 28-29 April at the Misterio del Jerez, the 2nd edition of the Jerez Social Media Meeting (JerezSMM) will be attended by Spanish experts in social media, communication and social marketing, content creators, and Web 2.0 companies with the aim of sharing experiences and networking in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Keynote speakers include Joaquin Mouriz, communication manager at ANEI (National Association of Internet Companies), Miguel del Fresno, PhD in Sociology and director of Quor 2.0, Gaby Castellanos, CEO of Sr. Burns, Barbara Yuste, PhD in Journalism and head of ABC’s Media and Network section, and Roberto Carreras, communication, marketing and online strategy consultant and lecturer at UOC, among other social network communication experts.
The objective of the event is to help participants familiarize themselves with the industry’s good practices and to ensure that both those who want to deepen their knowledge and those who are already experts in social environments participate in a dynamic way and widen their social media perspective. Likewise, the idea is to clarify concepts, generate ideas and show from a number of different perspectives how the use of social media strategies can reinforce corporate, institutional and professional communication.
The event is organized by Indios Zurdos, a communication firm whose activities revolve around the Web 2.0.
JerezSMM aims at reproducing the horizontality of social media and the ease with which they generate conversations, thus giving rise to a frank dialogue between speakers and attendees which has become the event’s calling card.
